Recycling and Solid Waste Disposal
If you need trash stickers, call and let us know how many you need. You can drop the check in the mail or the drop box and we can mail the stickers to you or make arrangements for you to pick them up. You can also come by the office in person but please remember to wear a mask while inside.
At recycling – Please do not linger longer than it takes to unload your trash and recycling into the packer and recycling bins.
If you know someone at higher risk for contracting Covid-19, volunteer to pick up their recycling and trash and take it on Trash and Recycling Saturday.
COVID-19 in Vershire
Masks are required in all Town Buildings.
The Town Office is open for regular office hours (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30-4:30, closed 12-1). Saturday office hours on the first Saturday of the month are by appointment only. Please call ahead of time and let us know you would like to come in. Please wear a mask when inside Town buildings. Also, you should postpone your visit if you are having Covid-like symptoms. There are many things that can be taken care of over the phone and curbside service is available.
All title and genealogical research is by appointment only!
The clerk and office staff are available by both phone and email. The office phone number is (802) 685-2227. Email addresses for Clerk and Listers are as follows:
Clerk/Treasurer – email@example.com
Listers – firstname.lastname@example.org
If you call during our scheduled open hours and get our message, we are taking other calls. Please DO NOT LEAVE A VOICEMAIL and expect a quick return call. Instead we ask that you call again later.
When in doubt, keep “masks on faces, six foot spaces, uncrowded places!”
